Privacy Policy
By making a purchase through Bonnie Baby, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from bonniebaby.com.au (the “Site”).
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. As you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We call this “Device Information.”
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
-
Cookies: Data files placed on your device or computer, often including an anonymous unique identifier. Learn more about cookies, including how to disable them, at allaboutcookies.org.
-
Log files: Track actions on the Site and collect data including IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
-
Web beacons, tags, and pixels: Electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
When you make (or attempt to make) a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (such as credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We call this “Order Information.”
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we mean both Device Information and Order Information.
HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We use Order Information to:
-
Fulfil orders placed through the Site (including processing payments, arranging shipping, and providing invoices and/or order confirmations);
-
Communicate with you;
-
Screen orders for potential risk or fraud; and
-
Provide you (in line with your preferences) with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use Device Information to help screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address) and to improve and optimise our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how customers browse and interact with the Site and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use it as described above. For example:
-
We use Shopify to power our online store — read more about how Shopify uses Personal Information here: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
-
We use Google Analytics to understand how our customers use the Site — read more about how Google uses Personal Information here: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/. You can opt out of Google Analytics here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We may also share Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Intragroup Data Sharing (One Chamber Holdings)
We may share your Personal Information with other companies owned by, controlled by, or under common control with One Chamber Holdings Pty Ltd, including (without limitation) One Chamber Pty Ltd, TheraWear Pty Ltd, Posture Place, and other related brands and subsidiaries (collectively, the “Group”). These entities may use your Personal Information for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy, including order fulfilment, customer support, marketing and advertising (including cross-brand retargeting, audience creation and look-alike modelling), analytics, product development, and service optimisation. By using our services, you consent to such sharing. All Group entities will process your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Business Transfers (including preferences continuity)
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, rebrand, or similar transaction, your Personal Information (including account details and your marketing preferences such as email/SMS subscription status) may be transferred as part of that transaction. The recipient (e.g., a successor or acquiring entity) will continue to use your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy or a substantially similar policy that maintains an equivalent level of protection.
Your email and SMS preferences will be preserved and transitioned to the new store/entity, meaning if you previously unsubscribed, that status will be maintained; if you previously subscribed, your consent will carry over. You can change these preferences at any time using the opt-out mechanisms provided.
BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING
As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. To learn more about targeted advertising, visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s educational page: http://www.networkadvertising.org/understanding-online-advertising/how-does-it-work.
Cross-Brand Advertising and Audience Targeting
We may use your Personal Information — alone or combined with other data — to create custom audiences and deliver targeted advertising across brands within the One Chamber Holdings Group. This can include securely sharing hashed customer lists or anonymised identifiers with advertising platforms (e.g., Meta, Google) to deliver tailored ads, create look-alike audiences, or conduct retargeting across multiple Group stores and brands.
Opting out of targeted ads:

You can also opt out of some services via the Digital Advertising Alliance: http://optout.aboutads.info/.
DO NOT TRACK
Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a “Do Not Track” signal from your browser.
DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information (subject to legal retention requirements).
AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING
If you are a resident of the EEA, you have the right to object to processing based solely on automated decision-making (including profiling) when that decision-making has a legal effect on you or otherwise significantly affects you.
We do not engage in fully automated decision-making that has a legal or otherwise significant effect using customer data.
Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you. Services that include elements of automated decision-making include:
-
Temporary blacklisting of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions (for a limited number of hours);
-
Temporary blacklisting of credit cards associated with blacklisted IP addresses (for a limited number of days).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The updated version will be posted on the Site with an updated “Last updated” date.
